Writing a New Chapter

As many of you know, at the beginning of April my wife and I tragically and unexpectedly lost our youngest of three kids, Carson Isaiah. I can only begin to express to you how much the thoughts, prayers, support, and financial contributions mean to our family! I still can’t believe we raised over $35k toward Carson’s fund for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Truly honoring and humbling. I could easily write a blog post filled with all the encouragement we’ve received, and have been using Facebook as my public ‘outlet’ for processing this very abrupt personal change in our lives.

One of the biggest blessings to our family was from my team and family at Entisys360. My management have been overwhelmingly understanding and gracious with my leave of absence, allowing me to be at home with my family to process, adjust, and heal from this tragedy. I’m incredibly grateful, and I know my family is too!

In four months, I’ve had lots of time to evaluate and focused on what’s important in my life.

Faith. Family. Friendships. Community. Fitness. Health. Finances. Work.

With my refocused energy, I am excited to return to work early August. If you have missed my regular blogging or our End User Computing Podcast, you will be happy to know those will both be returning to their previous schedule. With one slight change…

Closing a chapter is always hard, but hope and anticipation comes from writing a new chapter.
