After a great weekend of Barcelona fun Citrix Summit finally started and already met a lot of community friends.

As Citrix is about partners you will see a lot of sessions ending up in sales and marketing which and what’s even worse, it’s mostly NDA. This kinda ruins my blogging intentions for today. Because of this I will keep this blog a bit shorter then planned and focus on the general atmosphere.

As expected cloud is becoming more and more important for Citrix. The focus in general sessions shifted from XenApp/ desktop to cloud products only. Just like we have seen in San Francisco last may.

Thanks to the dutch Citrix SE’s I was able to visit the Secret demo room, this is always a fun time because they show products that will be released in about 6 months! Cool stuff but obviously I’m not allowed to share any product information. What I can say is that Citrix has not lost his edge and still innovates in a crazy fast way.
